Caffe Lena History Project and Performance

 Caffè Lena in Saratoga Springs is the oldest continually operating folk music coffeehouse in the United States. Since opening in 1960, Caffè Lena has dedicated itself to nurturing and advancing performers within the broad umbrella of folk music.

Last year Caffè Lena celebrated the culmination of the Caffè Lena History Project with the release of a coffee table book and CD box set. Join Caffè Lena Executive Director Sarah Craig for stories and insights into the venue’s extraordinary history. The event will include stories and images from the book and a short set by Canadian singer-songwriter Jon Brooks, performing a full set at Caffè Lena the previous evening of May 2.
