Don't forget, Tadpole Readers and families! Join us at the Library on Monday, July 28 at 6:30 to celebrate a summer filled with great reading opportunities as Lisa Russo, musician and educator takes our stage in the program rooms. Light refreshments will be served.

Beginning Monday, July 21, Tadpole Readers who have met or exceeded the reading goal of 300 minutes may come to the Library to receive their reading rewards: a certificate, a book from our Summer Reader Award collection and a small prize. And best of all, you can keep on reading!

Tadpole Readers is a fun, easy way to develop your child's pre-reading skills while you relax together over books. It is an ideal approach for nurturing a lifelong love of reading and libraries.

Each day a child and partner read for 15 minutes or more, update this electronic log OR mark the reading record provided in your Tadpole registration packet and come to the Library to have our teens or staff record your reading times online.
Come to the Library, talk about a book and enter to win a book in our weekly raffle and visit the Tadpole Treasure Chest. When you complete 300 minutes of reading, come in and choose a book from our selection of entertaining and award winning books.

The Tadpole Readers program ends August 16, 2014.

This program is supported in part by Federal Library Services and Technology Act funds, awarded to the New York State Library by the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services.
