Welcome to our Adult Summer Reading Program!

Make reading a family activity! The Adult Summer Reading Club is a great way for parents to be reading role models for their children.

Anybody can sign up—not just parents. Summer is a great time to catch up on your reading, so why not win prizes for doing something you already love?

After you register, record your username and your password. Then log back into this website every time you read a book and write a few sentences about what you’ve read. You can choose to share your reviews with other book lovers, and you can read what others have written about their favorite reads.

Each week we will draw a winner of a gift card to a local restaurant. And at the end of the summer, we will be drawing for our grand prize—a Nook Simple Touch. The more you read, the greater your chances of winning…so let’s get started!

The program runs from June 22 through July 31.

Save the date! Our Adult Summer Reading Club wrap-up event, Books, Beer, BBQ…and a Band will be held after hours on the Library’s lawn on Friday, July 31. Register here.

Chast, whose work has appeared in the New Yorker, illustrates and tells this story about caring for her aging parents with honesty, humor and heartbreaking love. Read this book and then get to the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge to see her work on display in a special exhibit.

Interesting novel that takes a look at a family and what happens when a husband and father betrays the trust of those he loves. Compelling and easy to read.
