Beginning Monday, July 18, 2016 at 10 AM Tadpole Readers who have met or exceeded the challenge to read 300 minutes over a minimum of 25 days can collect their 2016 awards: a certificate of achievement and a small reward.

And join us for a celebration of summer reading on Tuesday, August 9 at 6:30 PM when Robert Rivest, renowned comic, mime and yoga laughter instructor brings his special brand of silly to our Library.

Tadpole Readers is a fun, easy way to develop your child's pre-reading skills while you relax together over books. It is an ideal approach for nurturing a lifelong love of reading and libraries.

Each day a child and partner read for 15 minutes or more, update this electronic log OR mark the reading record provided with your Tadpole registration and come to the Library to have our teens or staff record your reading times online.
Come to the Library, talk about a book and enter to win a book in our weekly raffle and visit the Tadpole Treasure Chest.
Beginning Monday, July 18 once you have completed reading 300 minutes of reading, come in to receive your certificate of achievement and a small reward.

The Tadpole Readers program ends Sunday, August 28, 2016.

This program is supported in part by Federal Library Services and Technology Act funds, awarded to the New York State Library by the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services.
