Monday, July 21 marks the beginning of the redemption period for those SRC K-5 Readers who have met or exceeded the 500 minute reading goal. Come to the Library to collect your certificate, a book from our Summer Reader Award collection, and a small prize.

Remember, even if you've reached the 500 minute goal, please keep reading and coming to the Library to talk about books you've read, and stock up on your book supply

The Summer Reading Club for children entering grades K-5 ( SRC K-5 ) encourages reading for the fun of it, but also helps maintain reading skills over the summer. The Library offers creative, engaging programs to enhance the SRC experience.

Register online or come to the Library any time after June 23.

Update this electronic log OR track your minutes on paper at home, then come to the Library to have teen volunteers or staff log your reading time online.

Speak with a teen volunteer about any book you're reading and pick a prize from our SRC K-5 Treasure Chest, and enter the weekly book raffle. It's so easy (one entry per week).

SRC K-5 program and prize redemption ends Friday, August 15.

This program is supported in part by Federal Library Services and Technology Act funds, awarded to the New York State Library by the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services.
