LEGO Building for Grades K-5

(*Earlier date due to holiday.)
LEGO builders are challenged to work as individuals or in groups to build projects based upon a theme (see below) using the Librarys blocks and materials. Builders and their constructions will be photographed for display on the Librarys Flickr web pages.

SRC K-5 Readers who have met or exceeded the challenge to read 500 minutes over a minimum of 25 days can collect their 2015 awards: a certificate of completion, a book from the Summer Reader Rewards Collection and a super hero poster.
Remember, even if you've reached the 500 minute goal, keep on reading! Come to the Library and talk about books you've read and restock your book supply.
Summer Reading Club
for children entering grades K-5
encourages reading for the fun of it, but also helps maintain reading skills over the summer. The Library offers creative, engaging programs to enhance the SRC experience.
Register online or come to the Library any time on or after June 22.
Update this electronic log
track your minutes on paper at home, then come to the Library to have teen volunteers or staff log your reading time online.
Speak with a teen volunteer about any book you're reading and pick a prize from our
SRC K-5 Treasure Chest
, and enter the weekly book raffle. It's so easy (one entry per week).
SRC K-5 program and prize redemption ends Sunday, August 30.
