Ta-Nehisi Coates took a page from James Baldwin, upon writing this “letter” to his teenaged son, in which he renders the perils of black men and boys of color in this country, including his own experiences. Abena Asare, Assistant Professor of Modern African Affairs at Stony Brook University will lead the discussion. Register by April 30 and pick up a book at the Circulation Desk after May 8.
