The Bard and the Busker : A History of Ireland through Music The Irish, long noted for their literary gifts, have insured that their history would not be ignored, by amassing a plethora of ballads detailing their heritage of the past millennium. Mike McCormack elaborates on the historic content of a series of these ballads, and John Corr sings them in a clear baritone voice, accompanied by his guitar, banjo, and by Mike’s bodhran.
