Even though this book is intended for a young adult audience, people of all ages will enjoy this story about a character in a fairy tale who is desperate to enter our world. In typical Jodi Picoult fashion, this book is written from the point of view of multiple characters, which gives the reader a unique insight into the events of the story.

Number 6 in the Cupcake Bakery Mystery series. It's a good, solid series. The characters are likeable with depth, the story is good, and (most importantly) the recipes are tasty. A good cozy mystery series.

Michener was a master storyteller. Caravans was written approx. 40 years ago, yet the story is still relevant. Michener researched & wrote about Afghanistan's history and people - great reading.
