Nantucket Nights is the second book of Elin Hinderbrand's that I've read this summer. There is definitely a lot of drama and mystery involved and the suspense keeps you wanting to continue reading until the end. I enjoy Elin's books because of the setting and how she involves the characters in every day situations. There are families involved and they manage to solve their problems together. This is a good summer read.

What you would expect from reading the title. My least favorite of the Blossom Street series. If you really like Macomber, this is one for you.

While this book has some fantasy aspects, it is mainly a soldier's story. Paks has always dreamed of being a soldier and, after running away from an unwanted marriage, she gets her chance. It's really a look into a soldier's life... but considering Elizabeth Moon is a former Marine, it's no wonder it's so well done.

Michener was a master storyteller. Caravans was written approx. 40 years ago, yet the story is still relevant. Michener researched & wrote about Afghanistan's history and people - great reading.
