Very interesting walking through life with the families, first very close - then alienated. Relationship of two brothers, family responsibilities. Was this a true story? Family secrets -betrayal?? Love? I wonder.

I enjoyed the beginning walking through cultural/social history - I lived through these years. Further on the family relationships, mother/daughter - father/daughter, was interesting. Also affects of inheritance.

First few chapters caused stress because of writer's experiences. Travel later was pleasure reading. Many exciting experiences - acceptance by family. Why?? Selfish fulfillment? What causes this unending need? Favor bank!!
