|Scratch Camp - 6th-8th grade|
Event Type: Teen Program|
Start Time: 9:30 AM
End Time: 12:30 PM
Scratch is a computer programming language that makes it easy to create your own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art -- and share your creations on the web.
As young people create and share Scratch projects, they learn important mathematical and computational ideas, while also learning to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively. This class will motivate students for further learning through playful experimentation and project creation. At the end of our four days in Scratch Camp, everyone will have learned the basics of Scratch programming and be able to successfully create projects. We will all be ready to join the network of other Scratch programmers and share our projects.
