Drop-in program for ages 3 and up accompanied by an adult. Stories and songs will be presented in Japanese and English, followed by a simple craft. No previous exposure to the Japanese language is needed--come and enjoy!

Tadpoles 2017

Grades: Children ages 3-4 years by June 19, 2017

Important Dates:

-Start Date: Monday, June 19th

-End Date: Thursday, August 31st (please pick up prizes by this date)

-Summer Reading Kickoff Event: Mr. Dismantle - Thursday, June 29th at 6:30pm

-Readers’ Celebration: Circus Minimus - Tuesday, August 8th at 6:30pm

Reading Goal: 300 minutes

Rules: Sign up for Summer Reading online or at the Library. Update this electronic log OR mark the reading record provided with your registration and come to the Library to have your reading times recorded online.


-Weekly: Come to the Library and talk about a book to enter our weekly book raffle (one entry per week) and choose a prize from the Tadpole treasure chest.

-Final: Reach your reading goal and come to the Library for a personalized congratulations certificate, and to choose a book from a special selection, yours to keep!
