Reading helps children cultivate their imagination, builds their vocabulary, and helps with grammar. Bring your children to the library to start a reading partnership! Children will be paired with volunteers who will help them to become better readers. This program is first come, first served! Children K-4 are best suited for a reading partnership.

CONGRATULATIONS to all who have completed the 40 day Summer Reading Program! Even though the program is ended, you can still pick up your prizes for 10, 20, 30 or 40 days until Saturday August 30th. When you registered, you were prompted to select a grand prize (bug catcher/butterfly garden, Science kit, Furby, or minecraft prize) that you could have won IF you were randomly chosen as one of the grand prize winners. Anyone who completed the 40 days of reading by 12 noon on Friday, August 15th became eligible and was entered into our grand prize drawing for each age group. There were 3 grand prize winners.
