 Susan Brownell Anthony was a pioneer leader of the cause for women’s suffrage, and her energy was tireless in working for what she considered to be the best interests of womankind. In 1878 Susan submitted a proposed amendment to the Congress. Forty-two years later, in 1920, it became the Nineteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
In Linda McKenney’s historical re-enactment, she takes her audience on Susan’s journey from childhood to her death. Providing snippets of her life and roles in Temperance, Abolition and The Women’s Suffrage Movement.
