|Endless Bookshelf: Advanced Online Tools for Avid Readers|
Event Type: Computer Classes|
Start Time: 2:30 PM
End Time: 4:30 PM
In this class, attendees are introduced to tools increasing one’s abilities to research, locate, and acquire digital and print books. We also cover tools allowing readers to track and organize their reading history. Participants should already be comfortable with web browsing, installing apps, and downloading digital books. BRING any device you use for reading, such as an Apple or Android Tablet, a smartphone, laptop, or any digital reader such as a Kindle Fire. A list of apps used in class will be emailed to enrollees about a week prior to class, to make it easier to download apps ahead of time from home.
Location: Computer Lab
This is an advanced level class. An advanced level learner is someone who is comfortable with computer applications, technology, and office software, and is looking for more in-depth instruction. Solid mouse skills as well as experience and familiarity with computer terms and using computer menus, ribbons, and user interfaces are required.Contact: Trevor Oakley
